Welcome to Normal Theory 2

Frustrated by flashy headlines about Quantum weirdness that offer more hype than insight? Tired of surface-level stories that don’t really explain the underling realities? If so, Normal Theory might just be what you’re looking for.

Normal Theory isn’t just another echo in the chamber of pop-science. It’s a personal journey of discovery that peels back the layers of over-hyped quantum anomalies and misrepresented phenomena. Here, one man reflects on the universe’s marvels with a fresh perspective, sifting through the noise to bring you clarity and genuine insight.

Say goodbye to quantum weirdness. Normal Theory reinterprets confusing scientific interpretations in a way that makes sense to everyday folks. No pretense, no fluff — just a clear, relatable exploration of the science mysteries that boggle the mind and spark the imagination. Ready for a deeper understanding? Dive in with Normal Theory.

Normal Theory Core

  • Nothingness is relative and depends on what you know about your environment and how good your “eyesight” is. A hard vacuum (material nothingness, empty space) is also relative in the same way. A vacuum at atomic scales is NOT nothing, it’s “The vacuum” or also sometimes referred to as the “fabric of space”.
  • “The vacuum” is a medium with many additional layers of detail. Creating a vacuum is like removing apples from a bucket of water. You’re still left with the water! We just can’t see the components of this medium directly. Given that we accept Wi-Fi and all kinds of EM transmissions as normal now days, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
  • “The vacuum” behaves similar to normal matter. Concepts like the laws of physics, density, pressure, flow and entropy all still apply. Most likely with some additional complexity and dynamics on top.

Normal Theory Insights

  • Gravity is not a fundamental force. Gravity is caused by differences in empty space density at sub-atomic scales.
  • Electromagnetic energy doesn’t travel through nothing, it travels through the vacuum medium.
  • Space is not actually curved. It’s the density of the vacuum medium that varies in space, that makes it appear curved.
  • Field theory is a better mental model of reality and gravity than the “curved space-time” model. Theoretical fields do not have to model a complete reality in space, but typically isolate only one or a few aspects at a time.
  • Dimensions are just a super set of theoretical fields. A dimension represents an aspect / property of something in physical space, or any other abstract space a theorist can come up with. Fields are predominantly confined to physical space. Because reality has many layers of detail, we can model the different layers as theoretical fields and/or dimensions. We can then add them all up to form a more comprehensive and accurate model of the underlying reality.
  • The force behind “energy” and “entropy” could very well be the true fundamental force.

We need to further investigate the relationship between “the density of empty space” and gravity.
Let’s replace “curved space-time” with vacuum space density gradients and see what the models show.
A lot of the behaviors of “empty space” already have analogs in other mediums like liquids and gasses.
